As we aim at holding this project in the long run, we worked hard to find solutions to the problems faced by other projects. Our studies led us to the following results.

First issue: The rewards

Most node projects offer high rewards to arouse people's interest. This works for a certain time, but it cannot last in the long term. That's why many momentous projects have seen their token quickly collapse over time.

This is not what we want. As you are now aware of, we want a sustainable project.

That's why we made the following decision.

Our solution

We studied pioneer projects in the same field as ours to be able to determine a % of APR that can make a project sustainable in the long run.

We found out the best possible daily APRs for our project had to be set between 0.7% and 2%. You can get more information about it here.

Second issue: The NFTs

Another problem lies in the resale of NFTs. When an NFT is resold on on a marketplace like tofuNFT, it is not sold in the token of the project. If we take Island Nodes as an example, this would mean that your Island NFT would not be sold in $LAND while it holds LAND tokens in it! If everyone sells their NFTs on tofuNFT, the tokens hold in them would not be bought. This means the price action would decrease, and so would the value of $LAND. To prevent this from happening, it is crucial to ensure the buyers spend $LAND to get their NFT. If most of our NFTs are bought in our own token, the stability of $LAND can be guaranteed.

Our Solution

Our watchword is "everything in its own time." That' why we will proceed as follows.

In the short-term: We will first reinvest all the royalties collected from TofuNFT in buybacks.

In the long-term: We will create our own marketplace!

It is a non-derogable point of our roadmap. It will be ready some time after the launch. We have already started working on it... Here is a sneak peek:

By creating our market place, we will become totally decentralized. TofuNFT will no longer take % on royalties and we will manage our platform as we see fit. We don't forget that our priority remains decentralization within Island Nodes.

However, in order to make sure that everything runs smoothly and that there are no problems, we prefer to take our time to launch it, so it will be out after the launch. Our developers are working hard to release the best marketplace for our community!
